Picture update!

These are my wonderful 5th and 6th graders at Okubo! We had a Christmas lesson where we decorated a Christmas tree then took a picture after so they could hang it in their classroom. I told them to all make funny faces for the pics. Some got it annnddd some didn`t, but they are all still adorable!

Our Nara Trip!

Broc and I went on a trip to Nara November 23, 2009 while we were Kyoto. We took a tour bus to a visit a couple temples. Ya, remind me never to do that again. Dumb tourists.. that's all I have to say.

For example, when we went to a Shinto shrine, there were sake barrels lined up. The tour guide gathers us all together and begins to explain that they are not filled with sake, but are advertisements. Now, during this explanation, one man from the group decides to jump over the tiny moat, lean over the picket fence, and begin to knock against one of the sake barrels... Ya, just a bunch of annoying stuff from extremely ignorant people. *sigh oh well! Well, Nara's really beautiful, I hope you enjoy the pics! I'll try to upload more from the Kyoto trip as well =D until then!
